Using TipSplit
TipSplit is a tool to help split restaurant bills. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. By using TipSplit, you agree to these terms.
Free and paid tiers
The free tier covers splits between 2 and 3 people with no account required. Paid plans (Monthly Pro, Annual Pro, and Event Pass) are billed through Stripe. You can cancel a subscription any time from your account settings and retain access through the end of your billing period.
What we provide
TipSplit provides bill-splitting calculations. We do not move money between users. Any payment between friends happens outside TipSplit, through Venmo, Cash App, or whatever your group uses. TipSplit is not a payment processor or financial services provider.
Accuracy
Receipt scanning uses optical character recognition and may occasionally misread a figure. Always confirm totals before settling up. TipSplit is not liable for discrepancies arising from scanning errors.
Changes
We may update these terms over time. Continued use of TipSplit after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users by email of material changes.
